Flamexin 20 mg tablets contains an active substance called piroxicam. Piroxicam belongs to the group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory and anti-rheumatic drugs.

Flamexin is used to relieve some symptoms, such as swelling, stiffness and joint pain in osteoarthritis (arthrosis, degenerative joint disease), rheumatoid arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis (rheumatism of the spine). It does not cure arthritis, but affects the symptoms and will only help you as long as you continue to take it.

Before prescribing piroxicam, your doctor will evaluate the benefit of using this medicine against the risk of possible side effects.
